TanStack Start Engineer

We're looking for a skilled TanStack Start Engineer to lead the development of modern, full-stack applications that combine the power of React on the frontend with Python on the backend. In this role, you will architect and build end-to-end features using TanStack Start as the primary framework, leveraging its server rendering, streaming, and data-fetching capabilities. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, performant, and maintainable software. This is an opportunity to shape our technical stack and influence best practices for full-stack development in a fast-growing, product-driven environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience, with at least 2 years building full-stack applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong proficiency with TanStack Start (or deep experience with TanStack Router and TanStack Query, and a willingness to learn Start)
• Production experience with Python (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or Flask) for building RESTful APIs or backend services
• Deep understanding of server-side rendering (SSR), hydration, and streaming in React-based frameworks
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and designing efficient data access layers
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote or hybrid team environment
• Proven track record of delivering complex features from concept to deployment, including testing and monitoring
